The Management of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) wishes to inform all stakeholders, particularly second-cycle institutions, that a new Results Listing Portal has been introduced to facilitate secure and convenient access to examination results for both the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The portal, accessible via https://resultslisting.waecgh.org, is part of WAEC’s ongoing digital transformation agenda aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of services to schools and candidates across the country.
Access Requirements
To use the Results Listing Portal, schools are required to have:
- A stable and active internet connection;
- The official school email address and corresponding password; and
- A functional printer, or the ability to save documents in PDF format.
Candidates and school administrators are advised to note that each results listing can only be viewed twice (2). It is therefore important to print or save the results listing immediately upon access.
Guidelines for Schools with Multiple School Numbers
For schools that have been assigned multiple school numbers due to high candidate enrolment (i.e., over 1,000 candidates), each school number should be used separately to generate the corresponding results listing.
WAEC emphasizes that each group may view the results listing only twice. Accordingly, schools with two school numbers will have a combined total of four (4) views available.
Steps to Access the WAEC Results Listing
- Visit the official Results Listing Portal: https://resultslisting.waecgh.org
- Log in using your school’s official email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, select “Forgot your password?” to receive a reset link via your school email.
- Upon successful login, you will be redirected to your dashboard.
- Enter your 7-digit school number and select the appropriate examination. (The examination year is preselected to the current year.)
- Click Search to generate your school’s results listing.
- Once the listing appears, click Print to obtain a hard copy or select Save as PDF to retain a soft copy.
- Schools with multiple school numbers must repeat steps 4–6 for each assigned number to access all candidate listings.
